Big fan of cummins, I have a 2001 dodge 2500 with 385000 miles and an 89 dodge 1ton I use for my service truck. Hit me up sometime! Im looking for friends that love diesel as much as i do!

I got the truck with 160K about 4 years ago, has 292K right now. On the engine:

lift pump
water pump
APPS
thermostat
vib. dampener
(possibly other minor stuff I'm forgetting)

The rest of the truck:
Usual front end and steering stuff
a clutch
synchros in the nv5600 are gone but I'm used to it
a few driveshaft carrier bearings
a bunch of axle bolts in the rear (that's a weird one)
fuel tank strap broke, fuel tank fell off
lots more minor stuff I'm forgetting

But overall the truck has been better to me than I expected. I'm still a 12 valver fan tho.

You blew a head gasket? What kinda mods are you running?

it was all stock. but when i did the gasket i put a brand new stock turbo and 70hp injectors. its a daily driver and I dont need any more power than it already has just driving it around town. the head gasket didnt blow it was only wheeping oil so i opted to change it and install head steads while it was off.

fuel tank fell off

Fell out of my chair laughing, sorry to hear about your bad luck, but it's a good chuckle.

I think it's funny too, looking back on it!

I lost about 20 gallons or so going down the freeway with the tank dragging on the road dangling by one strap. People were honking and pointing at me I couldn't figure out why.

It turns out diesel fuel spraying out of the vehicle in front of you makes a mess especially on the windshield (that's why people were honking and pointing). I found that out the heard way following a friend's truck after I had stretched his overflow valve spring and forgot to tighten the overflow valve.
